Australian Financial Review Profiles Element Zero’s Green Iron Technology

The article explores Element Zero’s low-temperature process, which is designed to convert iron ore into high-purity iron without relying on hydrogen-based direct reduction. It also highlights the technology’s potential to process a broad range of Australian iron ores, including hematite and lower-grade ores that can present challenges for some conventional low-emissions ironmaking pathways.

At the time of the article in January 2024, Element Zero was commissioning its green iron pilot plant in Malaga, Western Australia, as the company worked to scale its technology from laboratory development towards larger-scale production.
